Project Assessments for EU FPI Funded-support to Local Stabilization Program

Objectives: The EU-supported local stabilization projects in Somalia aim to stabilize conflict-affected communities in Hirshabelle, Galmudug, Jubaland, and Southwest states. The project focuses on strengthening local governance, social reconciliation, community recovery, and applying the rule of law. By rebuilding government infrastructure, improving safety through solar streetlights, ensuring water access, supporting inclusive economic development, and enhancing peacebuilding through social cohesion and youth engagement, the project aims to elevate the legitimacy of local authorities by resolving socio-economic vulnerabilities and fostering peaceful cooperation.
