Objectives: The tender titled 'Capacity and Organisational Development for Women's Empowerment in Sustainable Land Resources Management' aims to address gender inequalities in rural areas by empowering women, particularly in Kenya, Madagascar, and Mali. The project focuses on enhancing the rights, resources, and representation of women within the framework of the three Rio Conventions related to sustainable land resource management. With a budget of 15.7 million euros, the project seeks to implement gender-responsive approaches to improve resilience against climate impacts, working collaboratively with local and global partners to promote sustainable land use while fostering women's rights and participation in decision-making processes.
