Türkiye Preparedness for Public Health Emergencies Project: Biosafety Expert

Objectives: The Türkiye Preparedness for Public Health Emergencies Project, funded by a USD 250 million loan from the World Bank, aims to enhance Türkiye's ability to manage public health emergencies. The recruitment of a Biosafety Expert is a critical component of this strategy, ensuring robust biosafety measures are implemented during the construction and operation of the Ankara Vaccine Production Center. The expert will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international biosafety standards, risk evaluation and mitigation, facility planning, and employee and environmental safety. The role is crucial for aligning the Vaccine Production Center with WHO and other international biosafety regulations, thus contributing to the project's overall objective of strengthening national public health preparedness and response capabilities.
