055-025 Support to the RCC Secretariat in Advancing Regional Action on Single-Use Plastics Phase-Out and Circular Plastic Packaging Solutions in the Western Balkans 6

Objectives: The main aim of this tender is to provide technical assistance to the RCC Secretariat to advance regional action on phasing out single-use plastics and promoting circular plastic packaging solutions within the Western Balkans Six (WB6). The consultancy will involve an expert analysis of legal and institutional frameworks, development of harmonized policy recommendations, and setting up regional monitoring indicators in line with the EU SUP Directive, Plastics Strategy, Circular Economy Action Plan, and the Barcelona Convention’s Regional Plan on Marine Litter. The ultimate goal is to support the implementation of the Joint Statement on Plastic Pollution and facilitate regional collaboration in reducing plastic waste and marine litter.
