Tender Notice for Business Development Support (Process Optimization)

Objectives: The Tender Notice seeks to provide business development support in process optimization and food safety assurance for the cashew processing sector. With a focus on twelve intervention countries within the ECOWAS region, the initiative, funded by prominent institutions such as the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union, aims to bolster the economic resilience of cashew and rice value chains by enhancing value addition, production viability, regional product demand, and scaling of supply chain development practices. The end goal is to provide substantial support to fifteen young cashew processing factories, ensuring sustainable development and mitigating risks associated with quality assurance and process optimization, thereby boosting profitability and sustainability.
