IMPLEMENTING PARTNER To provide Gender Appropriate Skills Development Support and Improve Access to Finance for Returned Migrants through Cash Transfer and establish SACCO in Mombasa County, Kenya

Objectives: The project aims to provide comprehensive socio-economic reintegration support for 200 returned migrants in Mombasa County, Kenya, through skills development, access to finance, and the establishment of Savings and Credit Cooperatives (SACCO). This involves delivering entrepreneurship and vocational training using ILO’s training materials, providing cash transfers to address immediate financial needs, and creating SACCOs that function as revolving funds to facilitate access to loans. The objective is to equip these migrants with essential skills and financial resources to secure sustainable employment and establish businesses, thus enhancing their long-term economic stability.
