1. The Republic of  Uzbekistan has received an Additional financing from the World Bank in amount US$ 100 million "The Uzbekistan Energy Efficiency Facility for Industrial Enterprises (UzEEF) and Additional Financing" Project implementation , and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for "Procurement of Power equipment" ((Subprojects: "Replacement of air circuit breakers at OSG-110 kV of the Fergana HPP for SF6 circuit breakers", "Replacement of air circuit breakers 35-500 kV for SF6 circuit breakers at UE Tashkent TPP", "Replacement of existing circuit breakers 500, 220, 110, 35 kV on SS Tashkent-500, SS Adolat, Kuylukskaya, Chirchikskaya"). The Purchasers are Fergana TEC OJSC, UE Tashkent TPP, UE Uzelectroset.

2. The SJSC "Uzbekenergo" now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for procurement of SF6 Circuit breakers 35 kV – 26 sets, 110 kV – 79 sets, 220 kV – 45 sets, 500 kV – 9 sets. Delivery time is 6-8 months.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011 ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from JV Uzconsultservice, contact person Klimenko Oksana, e-mail: o.klimenko@ucs.uz  and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 09.00 to 17.00 hours  at the address given below.

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 100 US dollars. The method of payment will be transfer to account provided below.  The Bidding Documents will be issued after receipt of funds in the above-mentioned bank account.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11-00 a.m. (local time) 31 July, 2014. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below at 11-00 a.m. (local time) 31 July, 2014.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the Bank Guarantee form of 100 thousand US dollars.
