Description

The Government of Belize has received loan financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the execution of the “Digital Innovation to Boost Economic Development in Belize project”, being implemented by the Ministry of Finance. The project will support the digitalization of firms and government services in order to promote growth and increase efficiency in Belize’s economy. The Ministry of E-Governance (MoEG) is committed to the National Digital Agenda, with the goal of improving government efficiency and digitally transforming public services. A cornerstone of this agenda is the development of a centralized e-Government Portal, which will serve as the single, citizen-centric entry point for accessing government information and digital services across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.

 

The Ministry of Finance invites interested and qualified individuals to apply for the contractual post of “Technical Coordinator for the National e-Government Portal Development” for the Ministry of Ministry of E-Governance (MoEG). This consultancy's main goal is to ensure the effective development, technological integration, and safe implementation of the Belize National e-Government Portal by offering the Ministry of E-governance high-level technical coordination, advising services, and quality assurance.

The selection for this contractual position will be in accordance with the procedures set out in the Inter-American Development Bank: Policies for the Selection and Contracting of Consultants financed by the Inter-American Development Bank GN-2350-15 in accordance with the Government of Belize’s procurement policies and best practices and the Central Executing Unit Staff Selection Policy (effective April 1, 2025) This selection is open to all eligible individuals as defined by the referenced policies.
