EAC - East African Community - is the regional intergovernmental organisation composed of five countries in eastern Africa (Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda).
EAC scope is to widen and deepen the cooperation among member states for their mutual benefit. A special attention is given to Economic, Political, Social and Culture integration in order to improve the quality of life of the people of East Africa through increased competitiveness, value added production, trade and investments.
Covers general goods and services that support daily operations, facilities management, and basic institutional needs.
Encompasses initiatives that improve how organizations plan, source, and manage the purchase of goods and services to ensure value for money, compliance, and supplier performance.
