Objective and Purpose of the Assignment

   

The main objective of the ISPMC team is to prepare of IWMP for four subprojects; to provide implementation support for formation and capacity development of WMOs in nine subproject areas, and follow-up capacity development of existing WMOs in the Narail and Chenchuri Beel subproject areas; to provide implementation support for rehabilitation and construction of water management infrastructure in the nine subproject areas, including construction supervision and quality control, and to support institutional capacity strengthening of BWDB and line agencies for participatory water resources planning and management.
