El Ministerio de Energía y Minas ha recibido financiamiento del/al Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), y se propone utilizar parte de los fondos para efectuar los pagos correspondientes a Apoyo identificacion potenciales soluciones oferta energizacion rural en la RD, para Crear e integrar a una base de datos, en un sistema de información geográfica georreferenciado, los saltos hidráulicos que recogen los estudios existentes y adicionar las informaciones de los nuevos saltos hidráulicos que se identifiquen y que resulten de interés para la ubicación de sistemas de generación hidroeléctrica, para la cual se require realizar el estudio..
El Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) invita a las firmas consultoras elegibles a expresar su interés en prestar los servicios solicitados. Las firmas consultoras interesadas deberán proporcionar información que indique que están cualificadas para suministrar los servicios (folletos, descripción de trabajos similares, experiencia en condiciones similares, disponibilidad de personal que tenga los conocimientos pertinentes, etc). Las firmas consultoras se podrán asociar con el fin de mejorar sus cualificaciones.
Las firmas consultoras serán seleccionadas conforme a los procedimientos indicados en las: Políticas para la Selección y Contratación de Consultores financiados por el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, edición actual, y podrán participar todos los licitantes de países elegibles, según se especifica en dichas políticas.
