Description
The United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invites qualified companies/individuals to submit proposals to conduct an Evaluation of UNESCO’s action to revitalize and promote indigenous languages within the framework of the International Year of Indigenous Languages 2019.
The time schedule for the evaluation is planned between July 2020 and January 2021. Given the specific and technical nature of the evaluation, a combination of expertise is being sought in indigenous peoples’ issues and rights, particularly languages, knowledge, cultures, and education systems, as well as international cooperation and human rights mechanisms. Experts and evaluators from indigenous communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
