Ethiopia - One Wash National Program
The One WASH National Program (OWNP) Phase-I is totally in agreement with the Country Strategy Paper that prioritized the water and sanitation sector. This program is also aligned with the Bank strategy for 2013 – 2022 (referred to as the Ten Year Strategy, TYS). The development and equitable delivery of water supply, sanitation and hygiene services is shared among the four aligned Federal Ministries; the Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Energy/the Water Development Commission, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Finance and their respective Regional Bureaus.

The African Development Bank is a regional multilateral development finance institution, established in 1963, with a mandate to further economic development and social progress of African countries, individually and collectively. 80 member countries including all the 54 African countries and 26 non-African countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia own the Bank.
Encompasses the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment and public works within the built environment.
Supports initiatives that ensure access to safe water, sanitation systems, and hygiene services to improve public health and living conditions.
