Description
1. Describe the proposed work in sufficient detail to disclose the nature and volume of work (in terms of physical characteristics)

The purpose of this announcement is to request updated and new A&E qualification information (SF-330 SF330 Architect-Engineer Qualifications) for the United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service (USDA-FS), Southern Research Station (SRS), Pacific Northwest Research Station (PNW), and Institute for International Tropical Forestry (IITF) and other USDA agencies in states listed below. The Short Selection database will also be available for use by any USDA Contracting Officer to meet USDA Architect & Engineer (A&E) requirements within states/territories addressed in this Notice and the resultant Short Selection Database. This includes USDA-FS Regions 8 and 10 in addition to the above referenced Research Stations.

Examples of some of the types of work includes but is not limited to; design of small warehouses and offices, laboratory repairs and renovations, historic preservation, renovations to improve energy efficiency and address safety concerns, energy audits and studies, design of photovoltaic and other renewable energy systems, green building construction and certification consultation, review and design of HVAC systems upgrades and replacements, bridges, roads

and trails, design of repairs to small dams and impoundments, review and design of electrical systems, construction inspection, drawing services, surveying (construction and property), overall facility condition assessments, geotechnical investigation, and environmental (RCRA, CECRLA, CWA, etc.) investigations, reviews, inventories, audits and coordination of RCRA and other waste disposal.

2. State the location(s) of the work;

The USDA agencies and, specifically, the USDA-FS may utilize the Short Selection database to award Architect-Engineer (A&E) contracts, below $250,000, in all States included within the USDA, USDA-FS, SRS, PNW, and IITF footprints, (including the States/Territories of:

Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington State, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands). USA.

3. Open Date for Submittal of SF-330 Architect-Engineer Qualifications

The call for qualifications (SF-330) will be issues on or about March 5, 2021.

4. Deadline for Submittal of SF-330 SF330. Architect-Engineer Qualifications

Your firms SF-330 and accompanying date must be submitted NLT April 16, 2021. Your firm must also be registered in Beta.Sam.Gov (https://beta.sam.gov/) to be considered for the USDA-FS SRS Shortlist.

5. State where plans will be available for inspection without charge;

This is not a call for proposals. A sample of the Request for Proposal (RFP) used under the shortlist and additional A&E firm information will be posted on Beta.Sam.gov.

6. State whether award is restricted to small businesses;

All projects under $250,000 are reserved for small business (Total Small Business Set-Aside FAR 19.5).

7. Specify any amount to be charged for documents;

All documents are posted free of charge to Beta.Sam.Gov https://beta.sam.gov/

8. Be publicized through the Governmentwide point of entry in accordance with 5.204.
