AZ-SHIP will assist the Government of Azerbaijan to institutionalize health sector reforms and better address specific diseases that are adversely affecting the health status of Azerbaijan's population. A cost reimbursement, completion contract with a 2 year base period and 2 years for the option period is contemplated. USAID/Azerbaijan's AZ-SHIP has been reconfigured as a much smaller in scope, funding and time activity.  Given the extent of changes to the program, USAID has determined that it will be best implemented through assistance.  Consequesntly, a Request for Proposals will not be issued.  USAID/Azerbaijan posts it assistance opportunities on the grants.gov website.
