Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items under FAR Part 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.
(1) Action Code. R – Professional, Administrative and Management Support Services
(2) Subject. SHDLR Class III Cultural Resources Inventory
(3) Description. The USDA Forest Service San Juan National Forest Columbine Ranger District has a requirement for an intensive Class III pedestrian field inventory following CO-SHPO standards for survey areas identified in this contract covering approximately 1,662 acres, broken into a base unit (626 acres) and two (2) optional units (totaling 1,036 acres).

(10) Proposed Solicitation Period. Solicitation period anticipated from 29 July 2021 – 20 August 2021. All solicitation documents will be posted to Beta.SAM under the solicitation number at item 9.

(12) Pre-proposal Conference. Not anticipated for this project. Interested offerors may contact the Forest Service contacts listed below with questions at 20i, below.

(14) Place of Contract Performance. The units to be analyzed are located near the southeast boundary of the Columbine Ranger District in the vicinity of Skull Canyon, Goose Creek, and Bull Creek in Archuleta County. The project area is in Archuleta County.
(15) Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Priced, Single-Award, Stand-Alone Contract
(16) Contract Award Period of Performance. The anticipated base contract period is 01 September 2021 through 28 February 2022.
(17) Contract Award Date. On or about 27 August 2021.
(18) Contract Award Dollar Amount. The awarded dollar amount will be based on competitive pricing received in response to the Government Solicitation in accordance with the solicitation/contract schedule of items.
(19) Contractor. TBD following evaluation of competitive proposals. One (1) contractor will be selected for single award. Contractor must have active registration in SAM IAW FAR 52.204-7 to receive award. To register, go to https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/#1.
(20) Additional Information.
(20i) Cutoff for Questions and Answers. The cutoff for questions pertaining to this solicitation is Wednesday, 18 August 2021 NLT 1300 MT. Questions must be submitted via email to klenise.wallace@usda.gov, and elizabeth.francisco@usda.gov. All inquiries must include the solicitation number in the subject of the email. The Government will not be held responsible if questions are missed due to failure to comply.
(20ii) Proposal Submission. Proposals are due Friday, 20 August 2021 by 2359 MT. Proposal submissions must include the solicitation number in the subject of the email(s) and contractor name.
(20iii) Tips for Submission.
