This investment loan aims to increase the capacity of poor people to escape poverty by fostering their human capital accumulation. The specific objectives are: 1) institutional strengthening of the social protection network; 2) continuing support to improve the quality of health services; and 3) support the social sector’s monitoring and evaluation systems. Status: In preparation stage. Estimated total cost: US$ 130 million. Loan amount: US$ 130 million. Executing agency: Gabinete de Coordinación de Políticas Sociales de la República.
