Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice.

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Horticultural lab located in Fort Pierce, has a requirement to Replace (2) Air Handling Units, Unit #9 and Unit #10, subject to the availability of funds. The work includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supplies, necessary to Replace (2) Air Handling Units, Unit #9 and Unit #10.

USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract, subject to the availability of funds. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 with a size standard of $16.5M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about May 18, 2022. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
