Position title: Outreach Manager
Location: Remote

Immediate Supervisor: Vice President (External)
Language proficiency: English required, French, Russian, Ukrainian are a plus

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

The Parliamentary Centre anticipates a rapid-launch program to be led by an experienced Outreach Manager. This is a full-time, short term consultancy 6 weeks, renewable.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead implementation of peer-to-peer texting campaigns including working with relevant software such as CallHub or similar
  • Plan, coordinate, implement and oversee a social media-based engagement campaign, to raise awareness of the program and encourage participation in crowd-sourced civic engagement
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve in a rapid pace and fluid political environment
  • Stay up to date with relevant international and national political updates on the subject area of the project
  • Supervise interns, volunteers and/or junior staff supporting the project
  • Maintain records and contacts database
  • Report on impact

III. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent English. French, Russian, Ukrianian are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, digital marketing or related fields
  • 5-10 years of related job experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills
  • A good understanding of current international political trends

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

The position is remote-based. Core working hours are 10am – 3pm EST.
