The German Government has committed to supporting the Tanzanian authorities in preserving this unique landscape. The project will concern both biodiversity conservation and sustainable socio-economic development within the Selous-Nyerere landscape.
Requested Services:
The projected duration of the project is four years. Services are to be provided by a team comprising of international and local long-term and short-term staff (specialists in management of Financial Cooperation projects, engineering and infrastructure development in the context of protected area management, integrated protected area and border zone management, community development) and other professional and administrative support staff. Efficient management and backstopping services shall be made available.
