1. The Republic of Mozambique has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Greater Maputo Water Supply Expansion Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for various goods under Contract nº. FIPAG/ GMWSP /G-15/18

2. The FIPAG- Fundo do Investimento e Património do Abastecimento de Água now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply of
|

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers , dated January 2011 and revised July 2014 and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from FIPAG- Fundo do Investimento e Património do Abastecimento de Água at the address below and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 8:30 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00 hrs at the address given below.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 100.00 or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be by cash, direct deposit or bank transfer to FIPAG - Fundo do Investimento e Património do Abastecimento de Água, Meticais Account no. 8992580 or USD Account no. 21322153, Millennium BIM Bank, Avenida 25 Setembro, Maputo, Mozambique, Swift code: BIMOMZMX. The document can be collected at the address below or will be sent by courier if the prospective bidder has paid the courier charges.
6. Bids for specific Lots must be delivered to the address below on or before 14th May 2020 at 14.30. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 14th May 2020 at 14.30.
7. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration for the lot(s) the proposal is made.
