We are seeking partners to collaborate on 2 EU projects in Mersin and Denizli.

1. Embracing the Future Transport Today: Mersin Sustainable and Resilient Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Strategy and Action Plan 2035 (Mersin ITS SAP) (NEAR/ANK/2023/EA-RP/0242)

The purpose of the contract is to promote the spread of resilient, smart, and innovative, eco-friendly, resource, time, and cost-efficient ITS solutions in Mersin via ITS SAP and its pilot projects. It is also intended to improve the capacity of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality for uptake of technology in planning and management of urban transport. Under this contract, existing and newly acquired technological tools, including software on transport management, will be analyzed to optimize their utilization and new software modules will be developed for their integrated operation and for better responding to the needs of the Municipality. The contract shall be based on, but not necessarily be limited to: development of Mersin ITS SAP; initiation and fostering of Mersin ITS SAP implementation, communication and visibility to strengthen publicity and implementation of Mersin ITS SAP.

We are looking for partners who have provided services under at least one service contract with a budget of at least EUR 1.100.000 or at least two service contracts with a budget of at least EUR 600.000 each in the field of development of intelligent transport services (ITS) strategies and data flow architectures to mitigate urban traffic congestion and reducing emissions from mobility, to focus on low emission mobility zones, to implement congestion charging systems, to establish of urban vehicle access regulations (UVAR), to monitor and manage urban traffic and public transport, which was implemented in the last 3 years.

2. Public Transportation Gets Smarter in Denizli (EC-NEAR/ANK/2024/EA-RP/0044)

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality (DMM) is in the process of implementing intelligence transport systems for improving public transport efficiency. The technical assistance will be provided to develop an intelligence transport systems strategy and action plan for Denizli city centre and to establish pilot electronic and information technology systems for implementation of the action plan. Capacity development in DMM in terms of technologies and methodologies used for establishing intelligence transport systems and promotion of the established systems to increase their visibility is also foreseen under the contract.

We are looking for partners who have provided services under at least one contract with a budget of at least EUR 500,000 in the field of ITS to mitigate congestion and reduce emissions (i.e. focusing on areas such as low emission zones, implementation of congestion charging systems, establishment of urban vehicle access regulations, urban traffic management, public transport monitoring, development of ITS strategies and data flow architectures), which was implemented in the last 3 years.
