Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company Ltd is looking for partner to implement resource mobilization strategy

The overall objective of our Resource Mobilization Strategy at ELDOWAS is to provide a framework for acquiring and managing resources from different funding sources in order to address the identified funding gaps. The strategic direction is influenced by the following factors:

1. Public funding for research and development in WASH is elaborate but inadequate and not likely to be increase with the current national financial constraints;
2. Development Partners’ funding mechanism is increasingly being channeled under competitive grant systems/schemes or through multi-institutional and multi-lateral programs;
3. Securing funds requires development of clear priorities for seeking resources and development agenda that responds to national, regional and global priorities.
4. A basic constraint with increasing investment is how to find significantly greater sources of public funding. The need to raise additional revenues becomes paramount.
5. Climate change action needs to maintain a momentum in order to make a difference, more sources of funds is paramount.
