GOAL has worked in Sierra Leone since 1999. Work began as part of a post-war response and went on to see GOAL play a central role in the 2014 Ebola response. With 130 team members, our programme in Sierra Leone currently operates in six of the country’s 16 districts: Western Area Urban, Kambia, Kenema, Bombali, Koinadugu and Moyamba. In addition to our Emergency Response programme, GOAL’s work focuses on longer-term sustainable development, including
Resilient Health and Sustainable Livelihoods.
