Turismo Centro de Portugal is a public legal person, of an associative nature, with administrative and financial autonomy and with its own assets. It is the Regional Tourism Entity responsible for promoting tourism in the Center of Portugal destination. The territorial scope of action corresponds to NUT II Centro. It is headquartered in Aveiro and has 7 delegations: 1) Delegation of Ria de Aveiro, which corresponds to the NUT III territory of Baixo Vouga; 2) Delegation of Coimbra, which corresponds to the NUT III territory of Baixo Mondego and Pinhal Interior Norte; 3) Delegation of Viseu/Dão Lafões, which corresponds to the NUT III territory of Dão-Lafões; 4) Delegation of Serra da Estrela, which corresponds to the territory of NUT III Serra da Estrela, Beira Interior Norte and Cova da Beira; 5) Delegation from Castelo Branco, to which the NUT III territory of Beira Interior Sul and Pinhal Interior Sul corresponds; 6) Delegation of Leiria/Fátima/Tomar, which corresponds to the territory of NUT III Pinhal Litoral and Médio Tejo; 7) Delegation of the West, which corresponds to the territory of NUT III West.
