Key expert 2: Monitoring and Evaluation/Knowledge Manager/Communication Specialist
Qualifications and skills
- A minimum of a Master’s degree (or equivalent diploma) in social sciences, communications, engineering, management or a relevant, directly related discipline;
- Excellent oral and written command of English (C1);
- Working knowledge of French, or Spanish or Portuguese (B2 level) is an asset.
General professional experience
- Preferably 10 years but a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the areas of international relations or development cooperation.
Specific professional experience
- Preferably 7 years but a minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and/or implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems of climate change / disaster risk reduction programmes; or conducting training and facilitation of monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Experience in knowledge management and the development and implementation of communication and visibility strategies is an asset.
- At least 3 years’ experience with EU-funded development cooperation is an asset;
- Working experience in/with Member States of the OACPS is an asset.
