Qualifications required:
1. Fisheries Expert-Crab hatchery design, training, management

Qualification required: -Advanced degree or technical diploma in aquaculture with specialization in stock enhancement. -In-depth knowledge in hatchery design for mariculture production systems, with emphasis on blue swimming crab, fishery resources management, and natural resources management. -Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement working coastal communities and fish traders in setting up crab hatchery.

2. Fisheries Expert-Mussel/Oyster Mariculture

Qualification required: - Advanced degree or technical diploma in aquaculture with specialization in shellfish aquaculture and mariculture of mussels and oysters. - Good knowledge area of marine biology, mariculture production systems, fishery resources management, natural resources management or related area focusing on Blue Economy Value Chains. - Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement working coastal communities in donor funded projects with government.

3. Fisheries Expert- Blood Cockle / Clam Mariculture

Qualification required: - Advanced degree in aquaculture with specialization in shellfish aquaculture and mariculture of cockles and clams. - Good knowledge area of marine biology, mariculture production systems, fishery resources management, natural resources management or related area focusing on Blue Economy Value Chains. - Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement working coastal communities in donor funded projects with government.

Professional experience required:

1. Fisheries Expert-Crab hatchery design, training, management

You will have at least • Proven experience in design, establishment, and management of blue swimming crab hatchery; • Demonstrated experience in engaging stakeholders, traders and fishers in the development of crab hatchery; • Experience in developing hatchery operating procedures; • Experience working with Southeast Asia’s marine fisheries, an advantage; • Experience working for international donors, such as the ADB, EU, USAID, GIZ, SIDA, and others; • Proficient in preparing high quality reports; • Excellent oral and written English language skills.

2. Fisheries Expert-Mussel/Oyster Mariculture

You will have at least • Proven experience in mariculture of mussels and oysters in South-East Asia; • Experience in conducting baseline assessment of mussel and oyster harvesting practices and establishing and successfully managing cockle/clam mariculture interventions; • Experience in engaging government, private sector and community stakeholders in developing successful mussel/oyster production, harvesting and marketing models; • Experience in organizing learning events, cross visits and study tours for mussel/oyster producers and other stakeholders; • Experience working for international donors, such as the ADB, EU, USAID, GIZ, SIDA, and others; • Proficient in preparing high quality reports; • Excellent oral and written English language skills.

3. Fisheries Expert- Blood Cockle / Clam Mariculture

You will have at least • Proven experience in mariculture of blood cockles and clams in South-East Asia; • Experience in conducting baseline assessment of cockle and clam harvesting practices and establishing and successfully managing cockle/clam mariculture interventions; • Experience in engaging government, private sector and community stakeholders in developing successful cockle/clam production, harvesting and marketing models; • Experience in organizing learning events, cross visits and study tours for cockle/clam producers and other stakeholders; • Experience working for international donors, such as the ADB, EU, USAID, GIZ, SIDA, and others; • Proficient in preparing high quality reports; • Excellent oral and written English language skills.
