As part of the elaboration of a proposal, CA 17 International is currently looking for a national Gender specialist. The team will support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in implementing the Enhanced green economy through a quality, climate-resilient and inclusive value chain (Green CUP) project. The candidate will support the Project Management Unit in implementing gender-related cross-cutting activities for the project (including a gender action plan and the quality insurance of gender sensitive activities). He/she will work under the supervision of the Team Leader.
The Gender Specialist is expected to match the following requirements:
Education:
· At least a bachelor’s degree in social sciences (sociology, anthropology, etc.).
Background:
· A minimum of five years of relevant work experience in social development and gender development;
· Demonstrated strong experience in social development and gender development;
· Familiarized in social monitoring criteria;
· Experiences, preferably during the last five years of social impact assessments and Gender Action plan elaboration or implementation;
· Experience with international institution would be preferred.
Skills:
· Proficiency on WB standards RPF, SEP/GRM and IPPF
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
· Proficiency/fluency in written and spoken English.
