Team Leader - Communications-Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

The Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating the work conducted by the Project Team and ensuring the timely delivery of the requested services described under these terms of reference.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master's degree or equivalent degree in public relations, communication, journalism, marketing and advertisement or any other field relevant to this assignment.
• OR a Bachelor's degree in the above-mentioned subjects; in this case, an additional equivalent of three years of professional experience in the communication sector will have to be demonstrated in addition to the general professional experience.
• Proficiency in Spanish (oral and written).

General Professional Experience:

• A minimum of ten years of professional experience in communication, public relations, or marketing and advertisement.

Specific Professional Experience:

Within the above ten years of professional experience required:

• At least two years of professional experience working specifically in communication, public relations, or marketing and advertisement in the fields of public diplomacy, public relations, or communication on development cooperation and/or humanitarian aid.
• At least two years of experience as a team leader in overseeing and coordinating the organisation of events of national or international audience or equivalent assignments.
• At least two years of demonstrated experience in managing online and offline public communication campaigns.
• Previous work with an embassy or international organisation is considered an asset.
