Key Expert No. 3: Biodiversity Expert

EUROPEAN PROFILES S.A. (GR) is looking for experts for the implementation of the following Framework Contract: "Environmental and Social Impact Study of the STEP Pumped Water Transfer Station Project"

Key experts
Key experts play a crucial role in the implementation of the contract. This specification contains the profiles of the required key experts. The bidder will submit CVs and statements of exclusivity and availability for the key experts mentioned below in its technical proposal.

One of the main experts is appointed team leader by the service provider in its technical proposal and he/she will act as the main focal point for the EIB.
All experts called upon to perform an important function in the execution of the contract are referred to as "principal experts". They must have the following profile:

Qualifications and Skills

• University degree in environmental management, biology or related disciplines
• Fluency in French and English is essential

General Professional Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in conducting biodiversity studies (including PGB, PAB) as part of ESIAs for projects in the hydroelectric projects sector, in compliance with international standards.
• At least 5 years of experience in conducting specific biodiversity studies (including PGB, PAB), in compliance with international standards.

Specific Professional Experience

• Relevant professional experience in biodiversity conservation assessment and in tasks similar to those to be provided in the mission
• Two (2) biodiversity studies of a similar nature (PGB, PAB included) over the last ten (10) years with the application of the standards of International Financial Institutions.
• At least one professional experience in Tunisia, or in the Middle East/North Africa (MENA).

The language of this technical assistance operation is French (including the language of drafting deliverables and reports). All translation costs are covered by the experts' fees.
