Technical Assistance to prepare Armenia Resilient Syunik Program (RESYP)
The overall objective of the Resilient Syunik Program (RESYP) of which this contract will be a part is to build the resilience of Syunik province with targeted interventions that improve community livelihoods and growth, by increasing access to reliable potable water supplies, and improving access to quality education and health services. The interventions will facilitate the integration of displaced refugee households that have been forced to relocate and are residing in Syunik province
The specific objective of this TA operation is to assist the Promoter and the Water Committee in selecting and preparing water supply schemes in line with the current priorities and requirements of the Armenian Government.

Qualifications and skills |
University Degree, preferably at Master’s level, in relevant engineering field. |
Excellent in oral and written English. |
Knowledge of Armenian/Russian language will be considered a strong asset |
General Professional experience |
At least 10 years of experience in water supply projects, out of which 3 years of international (outside the expert’s country of origin/residence) experience |
Specific Professional experience |
At least 7 years’ experience in developing feasibility studies and/or engineering design for water supply projects in Eastern Neighbourhood and/or Central Asia countries |
Experience in Armenia/South Caucasus countries will be considered as strong asset. |
Experience in developing feasibility studies and/or engineering design for water supply schemes in rural area in at least 3 projects of a similar or larger size |
At least 3 years’ experience in leadership positions coordinating multi-disciplinary teams of experts in public infrastructure projects. |
Experience with IFI-funded projects of a similar nature. |
