Consulting services for IT Skills Development and Capacity Building

Objective
This assignment aims to enhance IT competencies and soft skills among young people across Uzbekistan by delivering high-quality, industry-relevant training programs. The Consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive IT skills development courses that align with international standards and labor market needs.
The company must have a team of key experts:
- Project manager - 1
- Methodology expert for IT courses - 4
- Education manager (one for each of the technical areas) - 4,
- Online education manager - 1
The Consultant must provide a staffing plan with names, roles, and CVs for the core project team as part of the proposal.
Project Manager
Key responsibilities
- This role involves hiring, managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring educational objectives are met within a specified timeframe.
- Coordinating project activities and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Hiring of relevant team members or training program teachers for IT stacks.
- Monitoring project progress and adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines.
- Ensuring regular communication with stakeholders;
- Mitigation and proactive approaches to addressing risks and challenges;
- Guiding and supporting the team, fostering collaboration, and delegating tasks;
- Ensuring project deliverables meet the quality and regulatory standards of the UDI project in Uzbekistan.
- Establishing partnerships with local partners to ensure efficient fulfillment of the project.
- Familiarity with UzbekistanÃ's information technology and ITES development policy;
- Preparation of initial, mid-term, final and other reports for key stakeholders;
Qualifications and experience
- Master's degree in IT, education, project management, business administration, or other related fields;
- Strong communication skills, good problem-solving attitude, ability to deliver tasks under tight deadlines.
- Availability of portfolio or references, or a PM industry certificate, will be an advantage.
- Fluency in Russian and English. Knowledge of the Uzbek language will be an advantage.
- At least 8 years of experience in developing and implementing IT education processes;
- Experience in managerial roles in educational institutions.
