Structural Engineer

a. Supports the Team Leader with all assigned tasks.
b. Undertake technical investigations and prepare reports on a range of civil and structural design works under the Project.
c. In consultation with team members, support the preparation of design plans, specifications and estimates of facilities and infrastructure, furniture, and equipment to be
constructed or renovated under the project following climate change resilient standards.
d. Compute for and ensure solidity and structural integrity of buildings.
e. Review all design documentation prepared and ensure that it is correct to a high degree of accuracy, suitable for construction and in accordance with national building
codes and all relevant standards. Ensure physical works implementation plans and targets are being met on time and provide advice to the Team Leader on any anticipated
delays affecting civil works implementation.
f. Sign final physical works plans, designs, and drawings for securing the necessary permits.
g. Provide technical advice to PMU during the bidding process for physical works and goods.
h. Conduct site visits and supervise quality of construction works.
