Team Leader (Construction Supervision for Highway)

Project: SASEC Highway Improvement Project in Nepal funded by MDB

Period: Construction Supervision: 36 months (Currently 12+ months left) + DLP: 12 months +PBM: 60 months

The project has been delaying and currently civil works will be carried out by 2026.

 Scope of Consulting Services: This consulting service assignment will broadly include project management, supervision and monitoring, quality assurance, contract management and furnishing engineering decisions, verification of quantity, recording of measurements and certifications of measurement and bills of the Contractor during construction and maintenance period.

The consulting service shall also include implementation and monitoring of social and environmental safeguard activities and supporting/assisting the client in obtaining the necessary clearances on a timely basis. The Consultant shall need to administer the project implementation to ensure successful and timely completion of civil works packages. The consultant shall assist the client and the contractor to incorporate the latest techniques and technological developments, especially on climate resilience designs, road safety standard into the project roads.

Under the projects, about 87 km road section of East-West Highway including 55 bridges will be improved/upgraded from the existing two-lane configuration to four-lane configuration, with service lanes in selected areas

Note: The Consultant will provide accommodation and transportation to the Team Leader
