The opportunity is related to Multi Modal Transport and Trade Logistics Assessment, Formulation of Masterplan(s) and Supporting Capacity Development. The broad scope of services includes
- Capacity Building in Multimodal Transport and Trade Logistics
- Corridor-based Multimodal Transport & Trade Logistics Assessment
- The Railway Master Plan
- Feasibility study on Bhutan Inland Waterway Transport (IWT)
- Aerial Ropeway and Scoping Feasibility for Bhutan
- Multi Modal Transport and Trade Logistics Master Plan
- Policy and Governance review for Waterway, Aerial ropeway & Railway Infrastructure development .
Expert Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of professional experience in projects involving cable car systems in mountainous areas, covering feasibility studies, planning, detailed design, procurement, execution, installation, civil works, operations, and maintenance.
- University degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or a related field, and must have served as Team Leader or Technical Expert in at least two comparable projects of similar complexity
- Significant international experience is required, with proven involvement in cable car installations in at least two countries outside the home country, preferably in new and emerging markets.
- Expertise in aerial ropeway safety analysis, requirements, and compliance with international standards is essential.
