General Description:

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support our Project team in Pretoria. Possible candidates who live / willing to live and work in Pretoria are expected to be responsible to ensure successful implementation.

Key Job Duties:

• Support the coordination and implementation of projects to ensure activities are carried out in line with project scope, timeline, and budget.
• Assist Project Managers in managing project teams and coordinating project activities.
• Support communication with Beneficiaries, Contracting Authorities, consortium partners, and project stakeholders when required.
• Coordinate project documentation, archiving systems, and monitoring of project deliverables.
• Support the preparation and quality control of project reports, technical outputs, and management reports.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting processes.
• Coordinate expert mobilization and resource utilization during project implementation.
• Ensure proper tracking of project activities through internal project management systems.
• Support the preparation of project closure activities and documentation of lessons learned.

Preferences

• University degree preferably in administrative and social sciences
• 5+ years of general work experience in EU funded projects
• Preferably 3 years of EU funded project finance experience
• Have excellent analytical skills and research ability
• Good command of Microsoft Office programs
• Good command of English – reading, writing, speaking, comprehension
