Jabal Marra Charity Organization for Rural Development (JMCO) is a national NGO, humanitarian, nonprofit and non governmental organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through relief and development programs. Founded in Khartoum, Sudan in 1999. JMCO has main office in Khartoum and two field offices in Nyala, South Darfur and El Fasher, North Darfur. Has almost 15 years' experience of helping those in need.

JMCO's sartorial focus is on livelihoods and food security, WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) and basic education. In the context of conflict affected fragility, livelihoods comprise how people access and mobilize resources that enable them to pursue the goals necessary for their survival and longer-term well-being, thereby reducing the vulnerability that is created and exacerbated by conflict. In Relief programmes, we have specific experience and expertise in realizing household shelter solutions.

JMCO receives funds from WFP, CHF, UNHCR, UNFAO, UNICEF, UNAMID, Oxfam America ZOA and the governments.JMCO has approximately 60 employees. All of them are locally recruited people. At Nyala office has twenty local staf
