ACODEA is the first aggression of international cooperation for Spanish-speaking development. Responding to the concept of agriagency, ACODEA was born in 2009 from the initiative of two representative organizations of the agricultural sector of their country of origin, UPA and FADEMUR, with the objective of supporting the development of cooperatives and producer organizations, mainly in America. The Union of Small Farmers and Cattle Ranchers (UPA) , gathers, represents and defends the interests of professionals in agriculture and livestock in Spain. It has more than 80,000 members and is an official member of the Economic and Social Council of Spain, the Economic and Social Committee of the European Union and COPA.
