Aides aux Personnes Démunies (APED)

APED Nonprofit Association is a non-governmental, humanitarian, apolitical and non-religious organization operating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the east of the country. Since 2009, she is a social actor who works to find fast and sustainable solutions to the various problems that affect the vulnerable population by involving members of their communities in this process, to take positive measures against the risks that threaten the property. -being children and other vulnerable people. APED has experience working in emergencies in post-conflict areas such as Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. It is also a development organization whose programs are oriented in areas such as: Protection / Education; Water-Hygiene-Sanitation (Wash), Health / Nutrition and Food Security / Environment.

For the development of its services for vulnerable people, APED needs to work with local structures and communities, State Services, NGOs, UN Agencies and other partners.
Following regular monitoring, systematic assessments and advocacy on the situation of vulnerable people in particular, APED needs to exchange information on the situation of children and communities living in emergency areas several times, and proposes response strategies with other humanitarian agencies. in the context of inter-agency exchanges of the different clusters and working groups of NGOs to carry out concrete activities.
