Italian Association of Industrial Hygienists (AIDII)

Italian Association of Industrial Hygienists (AIDII) - Industrial hygiene is the scientific discipline aimed at identifying, assessing and controlling the environmental factors of a chemical, physical and biological nature deriving from production activities that can negatively affect the health and well-being of workers, as well as of the population. AIDII promotes the development, analysis, dissemination and spreading of such a discipline, aiming at protecting health and the environment inside and outside places of work. AIDII organizes congresses and scientific symposia, conventions, courses as well as training and in-depth seminars. Furthermore, it publishes a scientific magazine, the “Journal of Industrial Hygienists” and, through the Institute for the Certification of Industrial Hygienists, it vouches for the skill and professionalism of all those who dedicate their efforts to improve the quality of work and life environments.
