About
Amuria District Development Agency (ADDA) is an independent, not for profit local Non-Governmental Organization formed on 8th August 2006 as a service organization complementing government efforts in providing community based and focused development programmes. It is registered with Amuria District Local Government, National NGO Board and incorporated as a company limited by guarantee. The overall goal of the ADDA is to improve the living conditions and welfare of the people and envisioned at attaining culturally, socially, politically, economically vibrant, healthy and free society. ADDA focuses at providing purposeful, coordinated, charitable and community based services in order to promote sustainable socio-economic, cultural and political development. Over time, it has implemented interventions on Civic engagement and empowerment, voter education, livelihoods, peace building and conflict resolution, humanitarian action and disaster response.
