Intercultura Association

Created in 2000, the Intercultura Association aims to promote intercultural dialogue and human rights education in a process of popular education and international solidarity.

Intercultura intervenes in various fields, such as; active participation of young people, intercultural learning and education, citizenship, or human rights education.

Intercultura sets up, organizes or coordinates at local, national and European level:
* Training: intervention for Creopps vocational training (creation and takeover of a company in the field of Social and Solidarity economy). Creation of training for youth workers (on creativity in the social sector, on human rights education, on the valuation of cultural diversity)
* meetings: Exchange of young Europeans - exchange between local political actors and young people - exchange between formal and non-formal educational institution.
* seminars: Contact seminar between local and European youth work structures.
* support time for local stakeholder projects (associations, informal youth group, youth municipal council, etc.)
The association uses methods of intervention based on cooperation, participation, pooling of experiences, to stimulate the emergence of ideas, reflection, debate, creativity and the desire to act. the local population.

Intercultura has a creation center where employees and members of the association can create games, educational tools or even material for exhibitions on the themes of intercultural learning and human rights education.

Intercultura is at the initiative of the International Resource Center of Dinan. The CRI is a resource and information center managed by a collective of associations involved in the issues of European citizenship, cultural diversity, active participation of young people, mobility, human rights education, learning intercultural and multilingualism.
