Inframoura - Empresa de Infraestruturas de Vilamoura, E.M.

Inframoura, Empresa de Infraestruturas de Vilamoura, E.M. was established in 2001, with share capital split between Loulé Municipal Council, which has the majority share hold, and Vilamoura Lusotur. (*) Nevertheless, it was not until 2007 that the company began operating in full, feeling ‘committed’ to the genesis and philosophy of the project that led to Vilamoura’s creation, which dates back to the 1960s, when Arthur Cupertino de Miranda acquired the Quinta de Quarteira estate, which was about 1600 hectares in size, and transformed the former Morgadio de Quarteira into an exemplarily ordered and organised tourist resort.

Inframoura’s mission is to provide service excellence in the management, conservation and maintenance of all public spaces, respecting the environment from a perspective of high quality, which ensures high standards of living in the areas of Vilamoura and Vila Sol.
