Christian Agency for Humanitarian Relief and Development-(CAHRD) is a developmental organization dedicated to alleviating poverty and illiteracy free society by empowering the disadvantaged and marginalized people i.e. person with disabilities, displaced and street children and vulnerable women and men to bring about change in their own lives and to safeguard the right and the well-being of Children, and their Families to make lasting improvement in their lives and to take a stand when the rights of Children are in danger, however to work with the poor and oppressed in pursuit of Justice and human transformation, therefore making society free from all types of exploitation and discrimination where everyone has the opportunity to realize their potential.

The Organization has been legally registered with South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (SSRRC) under chapter 3, section 10 of NGOs Act 2016 with registration number: 3,800. CAHRD approach every aspect of work with honesty and integrity with the actions to address the problem of poverty and illiteracy among the vulnerable communities across South Sudan.
Christian Agency for Humanitarian Relief and Development focus on provision of Basic Education, Food Security & Livelihood, Climate and Natural Resources, Gender, Access to Justice and Women’s Rights, Conflict Mitigation, Building and Disasters Management, Youth and Women Economic Empowerment, WASH and Health (SRHR, HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria).

Christian Agency for Humanitarian Relief and Development-(CAHRD) aim to works with people whose lives are dominated by extreme poverty, illiteracy, health problems, environment and other social needs and the local communities across South Sudan, especially those living in the rural areas, by initiating and supporting community-based initiatives with a view to alleviating human suffering.
