ALT Advisory is an African-rooted collective of public interest lawyers, researchers, and technologists working for positive social change in Africa, and worldwide. We advance fundamental rights, enable meaningful activism, and advocate for rights‑based approaches to contemporary questions on- and offline.

We assist socially responsible organisations with advisory & research, impact & CSO support, technology & communications, and legal services in the areas of public law & policy, information rights, data privacy, climate justice & sustainability, and emergent tech & innovation.

ALT Advisory works in association with Power & Associates and ALT Design to provide comprehensive and diversified services to our clients, which includes strategic and test case litigation and communications support.

Since 2017, we’ve worked in 24 countries, across 5 continents.
