Ashoka Brazil

Ashoka is a global, non-profit organization, a pioneer in the field of social innovation, which supports social entrepreneurs - people with creative and innovative ideas, capable of bringing about transformation with broad social impact. Through diverse global communities, also composed of leaders from civil society, schools, universities, government, companies, media, among others, Ashoka aims to co-create a world of people who transform (Everyone a Changemaker) to promote systemic changes, social and positive. The organization, which is present in 92 countries and has a global network made up of more than 3,500 social entrepreneurs and around 300 Transforming Schools, has been operating in Brazil since 1986. In the country, 376 innovative individuals, 21 schools and Ashoka's 9 Young Transformers. Currently, the three main areas of activity are: Social Entrepreneurship, Empathy in Childhood and Youth.
