About

For over 30 years, Aviation Sans Frontières has been conducting humanitarian missions to the most deprived in the heart of developing countries. Recognized as being of public utility and a partner of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, ASF puts its material resources, the professionalism and aeronautical skills of its members at the service of humanitarian causes through several actions: - Aircraft missions. Three Cessna Caravan aircraft based in Africa enable the delivery of humanitarian aid, emergency medical evacuations and logistical support to over 180 associations and NGOs. Among them, FAO, WFP, UNICEF, WHO, etc. The only association in the world to hold the Air Transport Certificate like any airline, ASF attests to its technical capacity to ensure flights in complete safety - Accompaniment of children in urgent need of care, inoperable in their country of origin. Transported on regular flights by volunteers with low-cost tickets, these children can be treated in French and European hospitals and then returned to their families - Refugee convoys. The International Organization for Migration, which works closely with the UNHCR, has delegated certain convoys to ASF for several years - Medical courier and humanitarian freight. Pharmaceutical products, emergency aid or surgical equipment are shipped daily to clinics, orphanages or leper colonies - Operations in France where, in cooperation with 21 flying clubs, ASF offers the opportunity to socially isolated children and adolescents or young people with disabilities to fly (the Wings of Smiles) or to discover careers in aviation thanks to a specific IT tool (e-aviation).
