Project Lighthouse Africa e.V. (PLA) works in the field of community engagement and development cooperation with a comprehensive approach based on the nexus of development and security - communication - perspective development.

As a registered non-profit organization based in Berlin, Germany, PLA provides data-driven advice on stabilization and civil-military relations in fragile and conflict-affected areas.

It provides expertise in context and situation analysis, design and implementation of counter-violent extremism interventions, and advisory and program support for conflict stabilization initiatives.

The PLA team works primarily in West and East Africa, where the ability to provide high-resolution, real-time data and trend analysis has enabled more targeted and effective interventions for a range of partners, from humanitarian organizations to governments and peacebuilders.
