In 2015 Muhindo Gideon moved from Kasese to Mubende with his wife, his brother and his brothers' wife and a son to the brother. The living condition was very bad in terms of food, shelter, and health care.

Both his brother and his brother's wife died in an accident as they were from working to get food.he was left with the son who by that became an orphan. Caring for that little orphan became very hard. It was really a dark time but pleaders of children and elderly people at risk (PEPA - NGO) rescued me and started supporting the orphan. This passionate heart of PEPA NGO raised my passion for rescuing orphans and vulnerable children.

The challenges faced by Gideon and the support of PEPA NGO gave him confidence to be able to stand as a man today. From this experience, Gideon made his decision to form an organization that rescue orphans and vulnerable people from the grave of death and support their sustainable development in all areas of life. In 2022, Christian Research and information centre (CRIC) was birthed.
