The Foundation of the Institute for Health Sciences Studies of Castilla y León is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to promote training, research and innovation in the field of Health Sciences, as well as to provide the necessary management structure to allow the creation and development of Biomedical or Biosanitary Research Institutes in the Community of Castilla y León. As a complement to this purpose, the Foundation will provide support to the entities and institutions of the Health System of Castilla y León. Likewise, the purpose of the Foundation will be understood to be the realization of all those activities that, in a broad concept of health, contribute to the achievement of the foundation's purpose. To achieve its purpose, the Foundation develops, in collaboration with public and private Administrations and entities, the following activities: - Develop research and training activities in matters of public health, health care and social health care. - Develop and develop training and improvement programs for health professionals, as well as other technicians related to health sciences. - Organize courses, seminars and events of a similar nature related to its founding purpose.
